Yummy Cravings

We all have those "bluer than blue" days right? When you feel so down because of this and that and you feel like the world is on your shoulder, what do you do? Some of us get drunk, shopping, go to sleep, others cry their heart out  and some just like to eat. Like me.

when I don’t feel like bothering someone about my problems, i tend to find comfort on foods like mashed potato, sushi, French fries, pasta, and most specially chocolates and ice creams it helps me think and makes me livelier (maybe because of the caffeine).

just last night while listening to some mellow music while trying to find comfort on my bed, i long for chocolate. good thing my sister had stick-o (chocolate wafer stick) and my Team Leader gave us this
cream-o wafer bar that afternoon, so my sugar rush craving last night was solved by this cheap yet yummy choco-coated wafers.

So how do you find comfort when you have this kind of day?
here's mine:

Standout Red

I am a self-proclaimed Fashionista and ukay-ukay Princess. Are you like me that wants to dress up but broke for the most part? there's always a way-way HAHA! the secret is not having a wardrobe full of designer clothes but mixing, matching, a smile and being confident with what you're wearing. what would you do with a pair designer clothes if you cant pull it together?

nowadays there's a lot of fashionable/trendy clothes and shoes that are not heavy on the pocket. if you want to dress up and get the best value for your money,  you have to learn where to find the best places for bargain hunting, find a thrift store and the confidence to wear those clothes like it is a signature one.

Here is one of those Dress up days...
"you're never fully dressed without a smile"
black cotton tee, black boyfriend jeans, black belt, red ballet flats with bow and beaded bangle bracelet. so, is it Pass or Fail ?

Gangnam Style

Have you tried to dance like Gangnam Style

it's been hitting the airwaves, TV shows and world wide web like a virus. before i tried to search this Gangnam Style, all i know is this a dance craze from Korea and this is Vice Ganda's dance sample in a noontime variety show "It's Showtime" (got that from my sister) but this afternoon on my home, while in the jeepney manong driver turned on his playlist and played Gangnam Style, the high school kids suddenly burst out laughing and one of them danced while on his seat, so i made a mental note to search for this viral dance craze.

According to Mr.Wiki Gangnam Style is K-Pop single by PSY (who composed the song as well), and was recognized by  Guinness World Records as the "Most 'Liked' Video in YouTube History. "Gangnam Style" is a Korean neologism that refers to a lifestyle associated with the Gangnam district of Seoul, where people are trendy, hip and exude a certain supposed "class". The song talks about "the perfect girlfriend who knows when to be refined and when to get wild."

When i searched it on Youtube i was surprised that almost every video of Gangnam Style hit millions! and the original MTV Gangnam Style of PSY has 300 million views, and more than 2.9 million likes! notable stars like Britney spears, Ellen Degeneres, Nelly Furtado, Manny Pacquiao and many others danced Gangnam Sytle. So, why don't we join the fun? HAHA!

  • I am Aiza. as what they call me.
  • I am quiet most of the time. I am more of a listener than a talker.
  • I always scream for ice cream and chocolates.
  • Music, movies, TV series, books, internet and food (of course!) keeps me (in)sane.
  • I am a homebody; i go out sometimes after work but i make sure that i am home before 6 pm!
There you have it. a little bit of me just to have a first post for this new blog.
